Sage Wisdom

Dear Farm-Followers,
Sage Turkey here again! The Farm People say that spring has sprung out here. I don't know what that means, but everything sure is green and growy. And the chickens... good night! The chickens are doing this weird thing, where they lay eggs, and in some sunrises and sunsets, the eggs break open and little bitty chickens come out! It's downright freaky! I mean, I lay eggs all the time but nothing happens... well, Darcy that big yellow animal takes them and plays "Egg Delivery". See, Darcy has this deal with Food Lady Farm Person, and every time Darcy finds an egg for her, Food Lady Farm Person gives her a biscuit. So I guess maybe my eggs are turning into biscuits? This is why I can't figure out why little chickens are coming out of the chicken eggs. Shouldn't they be turning into biscuits too? Bizarre.
In Barn News, the Smelly Goat Animals went away to live with Lady Goats, which makes me very happy because now I don't have to share my grapes with anybody! Take that, Smelly Goats! More grapes for Sage!
Not too long ago, Food Lady Farm Person dug up a bunch of dirt and put pieces of corn in the ground. It was a really fun game! I tried to find them and eat them, and then Food Lady jumped around and put more in the ground, so I ate those, too. Maybe if Food Lady gave it some thought, she could plant a corn tree and I could have that tasty snack growing right out of the ground!
I suppose the biggest thing is that the Farm People got this tall man to bring a big machine and dig a big hole in the ground. I hoped that they would try to hide a really big corn in there but they filled it up with water, so it looks like a great big water dish. The ducks like it a lot but they keep getting their feet in my great big water dish! Blah! The water tastes like duck feet but still it's pretty to look at, and the really neat thing is that the ducks.. they can float on it! I wanted to try that too but I really have more important things to do, like wait to play the Hide the Corn Game again.
All right, I'm off to roost for the night. I'll make sure and let you know what else comes out of the eggs. Come and visit soon!
Love and Grapes,
Sage
